Year 3 at the British Museum
On 14th January 2009 year 3 visited the British Museum.

I had a great day with all of year 3. I think they are definitely the best year group ever! We all had a fantastic day looking at the mummies although some of them were a little icky. I'm glad to see that Shanie was fine after her run-in with the scarab.
I would have to agree with Miss Williams about the whole day. Everybody was sooooo well behaved -it was lovely! I hope nobody felt sick after seeing the 'icky' mummies.
I agree with both of you! A fantastic day - well behaved children - a credit to our school. I enjoyed the sarcophagus (I even learnt how to spell it).I also think the year 3 teachers looked really cool in their bright yellow vests!
I think that the stacgoose were very intresting at the third floor in the second room.The mummys were soggy and were wraped in bandeges.We had a great fantastic time.
My best part was the mummy that was beried in the sand.And the normal mummys as well.And i liked the skoles and the coffins they were pretty.And one more thing i thought it was funny when Dami walked down the stairs he always triped over.
We liked the part when we saw the big head and we saw the skeletos.The funnest part when we saw the naked man.The worst part when we went to school and back.The second worse part when monica and frankey were keep on larhing when we were trying to go to sleep.The second best part when we saw the mummys.The third best part was when we saw the skeltons fighting
The funiest part was when I went to see one of the mummys and I bumped into the glass.The funiest part was when we all fell down the stairs.I loved looking at the mummys there was unrapped mummies.It was a lovely trip and I liked the mummys.
The best part is when we sar mummy and scelton bons but we tryd to find the hook that they took the bran out thruw the nosros it was the best scholl trip in the holl wid wold.
Weliked the part when the how year 3 took a picture of us. me and Rosie was in miss simpson group. we liked the part when we saw the mummies.the coach was fun. we saw the jewels for the afterlife.
the british museum was fantastic . I liked to see the things in the british museum. sobeue,(zombies) dead man. After lunch we went to see some more and then went backto school.
I likked the sand mummy.Then me and Anisa saw lots of bones in the British museum.We likked the bit when harrys mum said give me a pigy bank.We likked the British museum it was so fun but it took so long to get there.
i love the mummies they were so cool. i really really liked the writeing on the wall too. there was lots of lions on the table. they also had shodows of peoples head. i had a fun day.
i loved the mummies the best because they looked cool. i like the writting on the wall aswell. i also liked the hook they used to jiggle the brains out.
I was approached by a member of the museum staff, who complemented the children on their excellent behaviour and good manners while visiting the British Museum.
i like the egyptains writing because most of them was intresting and important.the egyptains people that did the writing was fantastic and excellent.the egyptains writing was good and the best.that the best egpytains writing in the british museum i ever see!because it was the best egpytains writing i ever see!
when i went to the museum it was GREAT!!!the best part was the canopic jars .They where nade of china.you can break china VERY ealsely.The museum was COOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!!!!!!!
i went their there in year3 plus two seperate times. i love the mummies as well! with over 75 comments it seems like you enjoyed yourself.i know i did in year 3. i agree with migena's comment. she's in my class. did anyone like the sarcophagus'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the sarcophagus'es!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!there so fab. if no one liked the treasures then i would be very surprised. bye for now.
i really did enjoy that day when it looked like the beetle was about to eat me few it never for god sake that mummy with the red cross on the middle was distscusting i did''nt want to eat my wotsits because of it.

I enjoyed looking at the stautes of the four Egyptian Gods.They was cool.
I liked the quiz of mummy heads.

I enjoyed all of the British Museum but siting in the coach was a bite like saying be quick.
Thank you to the teachers that took us to the museum.

The best thing I liked was the mummies.
